\nKNOW Color codings.
\n1) Labels and signs are fluorescent orange\/red with lettering or symbols in a contrasting color.
\n2) Red bags or containers don\u2019t have to be labeled since their red color indicates they contain biohazards.
\nREAD All signs and labels carefully.
\nALWAYS Wash hands.
\nFOLLOW Safe hygiene and work practices.
\nDISPOSE Of personal protective equipment and contaminated laundry properly in designated areas
\nor containers.
\nREAD All of your organization\u2019s exposure control plan.
\nKNOW Procedures, practices, vaccination requirements and appropriate reporting for incidents of exposure.
\nUSE Personal protective equipment appropriate for your work.
\nNEVER Recap, bend or break needles.
\nALWAYS Dispose of needles in appropriate containers.
\nCLEAN Worksite and decontaminate equipment. Follow all safe handling requirements.
